I’m boat #8 tomorrow for the season opener on Cherokee Lake TN. Practice has been a mixed bag and with snow predicted tomorrow, I’m not sure what to expect. Due in at 3:20est hoping for good sized limit.
I’m ready to Rock’N’Roll on the Harris Chain! The first event of the season, BASS Southern Open Stop #1 starts tomorrow. I’ve had a mixed bag of a practice, but really excited to be back in Florida and fishing these great lakes. A monster bag is alway a possibility here.
It’s been nice taking a little breather from tournament travel and enjoying time at home getting a few projects done and reorganizing tackle.
I had a last hour flurry and weighed in 12-12 it wasn’t quite good enough to seal the deal on the AOY Championship, so I need to hold tight one more day and see how the top 12 shakes down.
Tough day today, totally water soaked with all the weather that rolled in. Fortunately 11-15 was enough to slide into 45 place and move forward to day-3. I need to make up some ground to have a shot at making the AOY Championship. Due in at 2:30.
I had my doubts this morning, but finally scratched out 13-5, currently sitting in 30th. Not much wiggle room in the field, an ounce or two in this derby could cost a guy big time. I think I need at least 12 tomorrow to move on to day 3. Due in at 3:20.
Practice has been tough to cough up the big bite. I’m catching a lot of fish, unfortunately not the right size. I’m hoping I can piece together that part of the puzzle tomorrow. I have a game plan – we’ll see what happens. I’m boat #59 due in at 3:40.
It’s been a while since I’ve fished the Mississippi River at La Crosse Wis. The river has been really high over the last several weeks, so I decided not to pre practice. I knew it would be a different animal come game time. I’m hoping that it will fish to my strengths. We’ll see what …
I’d been to the Potomac River several times before with the FLW Tour and I’d experienced mixed success on the big tidal waterway – there was a top ten finish, but I’d also had my share of struggles. After a few years away I was looking forward to going there and chasing the bass in …
It was another scorching day on the Potomac. I brought 5 to the scale, but needed another 5+ pounds more to make the cut. All in all it was a good tournament. I earned some much needed points toward the AOY championship.
